Our ingredient suppliers are accredited by the Brand Reputation through Compliance of Global Standards (BRCGS). BRCGS is a recognised body that sets the benchmark for good manufacturing practice, and helps provide assurance that products are safe, legal and of high quality. They provide accreditation for Food Safety, Packaging Materials, Storage and Distribution, Consumer Products, Agents and Brokers, Retail, Gluten Free, Plant-Based and Ethical Trading.
At Chefs’ Selections we are passionate about having full supply chain traceability, this is the process of tracking the provenance and journey of products and their inputs from the very start of the supply chain. All our products must also meet our stringent code of conduct. We support sustainable fishing and the aims of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), who are campaigning to transform markets to make sustainable palm oil the norm. We have worked with manufacturers over the last few years to remove MSG products as well as genetically modified ingredients and hydrogenated fats from our range.
