Chefs’ Selections Bulk Sauces Meet New Salt Guidelines

We have been working hard this month improving the recipes of Chefs’ Selections sauces to ensure they meet Public Health England’s salt reduction targets for 2024.

Chefs’ Selections Sauces, which include the 2.27l Mint Sauce, Sticky BBQ Sauce, French Dressing, Salad Cream, Caesar Dressing, Thai Style Sweet Chilli, Horseradish, Premium Tomato Ketchup and Chefs’ Selections Tomato Paste have all been reformatted to bring them in line with the UK salt guidelines, ahead of its introduction in 2024.

In making these changes, Caterforce has removed 19 tonnes of sugar and 13 tonnes of salt across the range.
